    • Thank you, so much! The original Village of the Damned as one of my favorite movies.
Hey! I have to apologize for not visiting your blog lately but it hasn’t been in my reader. I’m not making excuses because I enjoy your Artful blog and promise to do better in future!

Thank you for your good intentions. If the content on my blog interests you enough, you’ll get around to it! I don’t worry too much about “follow me, I’ll follow you, comment me, I’ll comment you” mostly because I’m not trying to make a business out of this, it’s a hobby. So, no apologies necessary! It’s my hobby to be an artfart while I slave away at my day job for actual money. I have lots of fun with your blog, that’s for sure!

      • 100%! I’m into blogging because I like reading blogs. I’m hooked on them. because of my vision issues I am a virtual prisoner of the WordPress reader. The reader will not feature more than 20 followed blog posts at any given time, on Android. Since TTS is a “read from the top down” exercise, searching for a specific blog among the 900 blogs that I follow can literally take all day and takes all of the pleasure out of a good read. Technology has made it possible for me to be online but it’s always going to be like the “Blind Men and the Elephant.” I don’t usually comment on blogs because it’s very easy for me to “miss something” and make a complete fool out of myself and there is no shortage of people eager to point that out. LOL! I’m like you in that I don’t believe in blogging quid pro quo.πŸ‘πŸ‘Š

  1. I didn’t think it possible, but my hatred for Twitler, the GOP, NRA and all their delusional, mendacious supporters continues to grow stronger with each passing day. It’s so intense that it just might consume my brain! I can’t take much more of them and the damage they’re doing to our country – yet they all think they’re waging a war to make it great again.

Each side is clearly living in alternate universes!

    • Hi, Jeff!
And wow, all of this Trump crap is getting so old. I have to agree with the people who say being a republican is a personality disorder… a personality disorder usually associated with 8 year olds. every Republican I know is a narcissist and they dream up a reality that services that need. making it all up as they go along with no thought for the consequences. Hypocrites, Liars, cheats and thieves but the good news is that people who don’t look where they’re going always walk into a wall or walk off a cliff.

  2. Why don’t we give the secret service in the White House and Capital pea shooters to protect how wonderful legislators from possible alien attacks? Pea Shooter training! A logical way to spend a few billion dollars!

    • LOL! You have highlighted the thing, that I believe, is the source of our frustrations and that is the greed driven hypocrisy… And what won’t they do for money? The perfect example of it, I think, is Sarah Huckabee Sanders. The best you can say about her is that she is an immoral and snarky liar. I love researching these people. turns out that Sarah has no problem using her children as human shields in her greedy Quest for cash. simple rule of thumb would be; people don’t lie to people they respect or care about. now we know where we stand with the racist, fascist, nazi, child molesting, wife-beating, Billionaire Republicans. Myung serves only one purpose and that is to manipulate and control someone in a negative and self-serving way.

    • I’m in a place where I need to replace my current Androids with the latest version and you wouldn’t believe how badly speech typing TTS can get when they are no longer being updated. LOL! The miracle of technology has turned into an incoherent zombie from hell! HA! The upside is that it forces need to shut up… πŸ‘πŸ‘Š

  3. Brutal! I can only hope America returns to reality after this nightmare because people like you will be on the top of the hit list for “naughty humor that demeans Our Beloved Leader” or some such “crime against the state”. Thanks for helping us endure this aberration of governance.

    • Thanks, Doug! I have but one life to give for my country! LOL!
Do you remember Ralph Nader’s book “Unsafe at Any Speed?” Underlying his critique of the Auto industry was his real message ” For the sake of profits, Republicans don’t care if you or your children die.” Republicans are still scared to death of Ralph because he revealed they’re evil Secret.πŸ‘Š

      • LOL!

Yes, I do remember “Unsafe At Any Speed”, the death knell for the Corvair and the start of safety improbvements in modern autos.

I also remember Ford’s cynical Pinto business where they calculated liability payouts for customers killed in horrific fires that came about when the Pinto was struck behind was cheaper than putting a fifty cent fix on all Pintos that would prevent the fires.

I personally believe in prison terms for engineers and executives that are involved in this sort of criminal behavior, much as those involved in the VW diesel cheating software have been. When deaths occur, I personally feel they should be treated as murder when there was a premeditated response to a known potentially fatal flaw in a product design…

      • In China, after the pet food poisoning scandal was traced back to Chinese suppliers in 2008, China executed the CEOs responsible for it as “dishonorable and Unforgivable.” no wonder Trump in the rest of the unfettered capitalist billionaires are so fond of deregulation. Since China has no use for human rights I have to believe that their decision was based on economics and not a concern for Animal Welfare or “honor.” Trump and the rest of the greedy billionaire should probably be concerned because China is the ultimate end for fascist capitalism.

      • Exactly! I personally support the French Revolution solution to grubs that try to accumulate all the wealth, a la Scrooge McDuck, so they can wallow in it and decorate their penthouses in 24 carat gold. But I’m a bit over the top on the issue….

    • Thank you, Horty! It’s looking pretty bad for the Trumpers. The only sour note is the 7% of Americans that decided to endorse Trump because of the tax scam giving him a 40% approval rating. People have always said, “If you want to steal everything an American has all you have to do is put a shiny quarter in his front pocket as you reach around and steal his wallet.” Sad but apparently true for 40% of us. we’ve got a lot of work to do.πŸ‘Š

    • Hi, Laurel! I have a funny feeling that Trump and the NRA are going to get a good scaring from the Florida high school students! I don’t think there is anyone left for Trump to insult other than his base of greedy billionaires and greedy stupid people.

      • Here are some facts that America’s Russian Right Wing (CPAC) wants us to forget:

On November 4 2008, over 69 million Americans voted for Barack Obama, Obama won more votes than any previously elected president did. Four years later 65,915,795 Americans gave President Obama his second term.

On November 6, 2017 over 65 million American voted for Hillary Clinton. We don’t know how many votes Clinton lost to lies, voter suppression, machine rigging, media bias, and gerrymandering.

What we do know is this: America isn’t divided. Americans know what we want; we’ve voted for it three times.

      • Excellent points! The end must be near considering Trump’s current panic. It will be interesting to watch Senate and House Republicans try to minimize their responsibility as the dirt rolls out. Trump’s latest drop in the polls to an all-new low is good news..πŸ‘πŸ‘Š

    • Hahahahaha! We are absolutely workin’ alive with Trumpers down here. Right now the Republican legislators in Georgia are threatening, blackmailing and extorting Delta Airlines for their refusal to support the NRA. people clinging to hatred and bigotry are definitely horrifying!πŸ‘Š

  4. While I think it is great for a thriving democracy to have outsiders shaking up the establishment from time to time, it is unusual to have an outsider start at the top, as Mr, Trump has done, without having earned his spurs in a state or city election. I think it indicates deep fissures in American society with a lot of people staunchly for or against.

    • Spot-on observation, as always! I think Trump is the toxic ingredient in his own neoliberalism movement. It seems that the fate of democracy Now rests in the hands of Robert Mueller and the 2018 midterm elections. I’m banking on Democracy and The Resistance to win!πŸ‘πŸ‘Š
