    • Thanks, Rob! It’s amazing how many Trumper’s don’t know they’re being robbed in broad daylight. now Trump in the Republicans want to replace are military hardware with all new military hardware (exactly like the old Hardware except that the Republican military contractors get richer)… and don’t forget there’s no money for the troops… Social Security , Medicare or Medicaid… just cuts… Especially for veterans and military families. Who benefits? LOL! Not the “poorly educated” Trumpers. Blissful, sanctimonious, self-satisfied, racist, not see, fascist, child molesting, greedy, wife beating Republican ignorant Trumpers.

      • In Kansas, due to Republican budget cuts, kids go to school 4 days a week. Republicans are no longer a political party they are a terrorist group that wants to spend our treasury on the pentagon and then make the rest of the world as stupid as we are. the Republicans that we can’t put in prison must be shunned. 👊

      • The best way to understand the modern GOP is to place it within the context of slavery.

The White feudal lords of the South believed God had burdened them with the responsibility for ‘caring’ Africans by enslaving them. (White Man’s Burden)

The South fabricated a set of beliefs and laws to protect their property, among these were laws against
teaching slaves to read and write.

With the exception of Maryland and Kentucky, every Southern state had anti-literacy laws. Here are a few examples: in North Carolina, black people who disobeyed the law were sentenced to whipping while whites received a fine and/or jail time. In 1832, Alabama and Virginia prohibited whites from teaching blacks to read or write, punished by fines and floggings. In 1833, Georgia, prohibited blacks from working in reading or writing jobs (via an employment law), and prohibited teaching blacks, punished by fines and whippings.

        These were ‘Anti-Literacy’ laws.

Now replace the plantations with for profit prisons, replace slave cabins with tents on our streets, and write arbitrary laws that people will break just by trying to stay alive. (How many hungry people do we arrest for trying to steal the food?) In California shoplifting is a “standard” misdemeanor, punishable by up to 6 months in jail and/or a fine of up to $1,000. That may seem like nothing but it’s enough to get a homeless person jail time and a prison record, which only makes it harder to climb out of poverty.

      • 100% don’t forget it’s cheaper for the modern Plantation to pay a slave wage rather than actually own the slaves and Outsourcing their Healthcare to Medicaid and the local community. Social engineering has always been the fascists trade.
