    • LOL! I also have Garbage Eve which is the night before garbage pickup when you roll your trash to the street!
I must admit though; I have always Liked Mondays or the first day of anything… Like the first day of school or the first day of a new job… Any new experience. I think it brings out the best and worst in people. You can always tell on the first day who “the adventurers” are and who you would like to be friends with. 👍👍

      • “Garbage Eve” …ROFL!
Because of the bears in the neighbourhood, and the amount of seafood I eat, I only roll the garbage bin out about 2 hours before the pickup is due! I don’t want to pick up trash strewn down the street and in a 5-mile radius!
        XD

      • That’s terrific! It’s rural around here but you have a real Adventure going on all the time! 👍👍
One of my favorite things about garbage eve are the people who make sure that every trash can in the house has been emptied and there is not 1 bit of trash left in the house… As if there will NEVER be another garbage pickup… Even going so far as to rushing me to hurry up with my microwave popcorn so the bag can be carried down to the curb for the next days garbage pickup. People are funny! 😀

      • LOL – microwave popcorn bags aren’t bad…it’s the wrappers around chicken or fish that get stinky and need to be removed – but nukeables can hang around until the next pickup!
People are definitely funny…especially the ones we live with!
        XD

      • LOL! I WISH for anal retentive! Fortunately, I am merely ADJACENT to the CERTIFIED mentally ill. Ironically, it inspires some of what I post on my blog. Neurotic and psychotic behavior can be extremely funny… FROM A DISTANCE.

      • Adjacent…oh, I know what that’s like! Distance is definitely better, in those cases. That’s how I feel about many in my own family – I love them dearly…but from a distance!
Familiarity doesn’t breed contempt, to me…it breeds concern in some cases – especially when the “hands-tied” feeling is strong!
        :/
